How big of a space do I need to rent?

You may call us anytime at 805-964-3104 and we would be happy to help you determine the right unit size. We are one of the only facilities to have over 40 different sized units at our facilities and this way we are very equipped to help all customers find just the perfect size unit.

You may also always visit us in person at our office Monday - Saturday 9:30 - 5:30 and we can show you in person our various units so that you can select in person if that works better for you.

What are the rental terms?

Our normal rental term is month to month, however, during busy seasons or with minimum unit availability, we reserve the right to require a three-month rental term.

When are you open?

Our storage office is open Monday - Saturday 9:30 - 5:30. Once you have a unit with us you may access it 7-7-7, that is 7 days per week from 7am to 7pm. There are exceptions (see next question).

Are you open on holidays?

We are closed on New Year’s Day, Easter, Labor Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Additionally we close early on Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Other than that, you will always find us here.

What if I need to access my storage after hours?

We understand that life is busy and time flies! If you ever need access after hours, call our friendly staff during regular business hours and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. Additionally someone is ALWAYS available in the event of an emergency.

Where can I buy boxes? Do I need to bring a lock?

We sell everything you need right here! If you have a lock and would like to save some money, then YES, bring your own lock! Just be sure to clear it through the office first as some units require certain types of locks.

Are the upstairs units hard to get to?

Nope! And want to know what else? You will save money by renting upstairs. We have freight elevators, dollies and carts to get your stuff to where you need it. Simple and easy, that is what it is all about

May I have items shipped to Goleta Valley Self Storage?

How do I change my address?

Can I reserve a space for the summer?

Yes, you can. Complete this form and fax (805-964-6375) or email it back to us. You can also use our online system to rent a storage unit! Log in to access your account. What is your vacate policy?

Our vacate policy states that you MUST give a 30 day written notice. We can take your notice over the phone but still require something in writing (meaning the date will start when you actually call us, not when you actually sign). Furthermore, we charge per day so if your vacancy stretches in to part of the next month you are only charged per day. If you extend your vacancy there is no penalty – we do not want you to leave in the first place!

Can I pay my bill online?
